HSM at Madhav KRG is under operation for more than one year since commissioning had finished in September 2024. The mill is continuously at full productivity. The mill consists of induction heating, reversing roughing mill with edger, 7 stands finishing mill, laminar cooling and two down coilers. The mill was supplied by PREET Brothers and PTSW participated on mill design and supplied complete automation system including Level 2 rolling models with pass schedule optimisation. Thanks to precise process control and setup the tided quality tolerances are met and minimum designed thickness 1.2 mm is successfully rolled on daily basis.
